Flexible Hybrid Electronics are comprised of soft and rigid electronic components. Robust and reliable electrical interconnections are necessary to ensure the proper functionality of the devices with rigid semiconductors, communications, and sensor components on flexible circuits. ZTACH® ACE, magnetically aligned Anisotropic Conductive Epoxy (ACE) takes advantage of magnetically induced self-assembly of ferro-magnetic particles that self-align into Z-axis “wires” in an epoxy polymer matrix optimized for Flexible Hybrid Electronic (FHE) applications.
